Terms of Service
Last updated: 9 September 2026
These terms govern your use of the Bremlio API, dashboard and website ("the Service"), provided by Bremlio Ltd ("Bremlio", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them.

1. The Service
Bremlio provides an API and dashboard for sending SMS messages and one-time passcodes (OTP) to UK mobile numbers. Pricing is pay-as-you-go: 4.65p per SMS, no monthly fee, no minimum spend. New accounts receive 25 free credits; the minimum top-up is £10. Prices are in GBP.
2. Account approval
Every new account is held for review before it can send messages. We look at the business details you provide (website, use case, and optionally your company number) to confirm the account is a genuine business, before approving it to send. We may decline or later suspend an account that we reasonably believe is being used for spam, fraud, or in breach of these terms or applicable law — including PECR (the UK's electronic communications marketing rules).
3. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to send, or knowingly allow to be sent:
- Messages to a recipient who hasn't consented to receive them, or who has opted out (replied STOP or similar)
- Marketing messages without the opt-out mechanism required by PECR
- Content that is illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, or facilitates fraud (including phishing and OTP-relay abuse of unrelated third-party services)
- Content that infringes someone else's rights, or that is threatening, abusive, or harassing
We may hold, filter, or refuse to send messages that our automated content checks or a reviewer flag as breaching this section, and we may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly or seriously breach it.
4. Billing
Credits are purchased in advance through our payment provider, Stripe, and deducted per message sent. A message that a carrier rejects before sending is refunded automatically. Credits don't expire while your account remains active, but are non-refundable once purchased except where required by law or where we've made an error.
5. Service availability
We aim to provide a reliable service, but the Service depends in part on third-party SMS carriers and infrastructure providers outside our direct control, and we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. We don't currently offer a service-level agreement (SLA) or uptime commitment — if you need one for your use case, contact us before relying on the Service for anything safety-critical.
6. Your responsibilities
You're responsible for the content of messages you send through the Service, for having a lawful basis and (where required) consent to message each recipient, and for keeping your API key confidential. You're liable for activity carried out using your account and API key.
7. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Service and close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or abuse, or if required to do so by law or by a carrier or payment provider we rely on to deliver the Service.
8. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, Bremlio Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the Service, including lost profits or lost business, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law (for example, liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud).
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time; we'll update the date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
